ZIP System wall panels from Huber Engineered Woods are now available in longer lengths designed specifically for high-wind regions.

September 17, 2010
This article first appeared in the CB September 2010 issue of Custom Builder.

ZIP System wall panels from Huber Engineered Woods are now available in longer lengths — 97-1/18”, 109-1/8” and 121-1/8” — designed specifically for high-wind regions. The ZIP System is a three-in-one technology that is code recognized as a structural wall panel, moisture barrier and air barrier. The longer lengths allow builders to lock the top and bottom plates to provide a continuous load path. The panels also come in a standard, 4x8’ size, in both 7/16” and ½” thicknesses, as well as 9’ and 10’ lengths.
