Tuscan-style home welcomes visitors with a private courtyard

March 01, 2009

This 6,250-square-foot, Tuscan-style home welcomes visitors into a private courtyard and a stone pathway crowned with plastered groin vaults. A sense of permanence emanates from the hand-forged, custom iron door pulls and arched double doors, which are 10 feet tall and made of solid mahogany.

Drama awaits inside the foyer, adorned with a hand-plastered and painted groin vaulted ceiling, custom-designed chandelier and stained oak flooring.
