Black kitchens have overtaken white kitchens in Google search volume for the first time, with 803,000 monthly searches vs. 684,000, up 118% year-over-year, according to search-trend analysis by architectural metalwork company CopperSmith.

Boomers were expected to start downsizing. But they're buying bigger homes instead. Wealthy, older Americans are throwing out the traditional script for aging, choosing larger homes to house adult kids and grandkids. The math on downsizing has gotten worse, per the WSJ.
