Owens Corning: QuietZone noise control system decreases noise by up to 80% compared with conventional wood-stud construction, the company says. The system manages sound and controls noise with QuietZone acoustic products including QuietZone Acoustic Wall Framing, Acoustic Floor Mat, Acoustic Caulk, Acoustic Batts and Acoustic Door system. Acoustic Wall Framing is a new framing member that eliminates the need for staggered stud or resilient channel construction.
