GE's Monogram Walk-In Wine Vault brings luxury into the wine connoisseur's home. Measuring approximately 7 feet 9 inches by 8 feet 8 1/2 inches on the exterior and 7 feet 1 inch by 8 feet 1/2 inch on the interior, the vault is designed specifically to manage and store up to 1,100 bottles of fine wine in a secured environment. To keep track of the wine, GE also developed an inventory tracking system. The tracking system uses a touch screen monitor and tag printer to assist the homeowner with locating wine and removing it from inventory. A special inventory protection feature allows the homeowner to manage hold times as well as verify peak and past due drink times for each type of wine in the vault.
