KitchenAid has taken the dishwasher down under with its Drawer Dishwasher. Similar to traditional dishwashers, this unit occupies the same amount of undercounter space; however, unlike traditional models, two separate dishwashers — one on top of the other — are hidden in easy-to-pull-out drawers. With the two-washer set-up, homeowners can wash two loads simultaneously, using two different cycle settings if necessary. The functional configuration allows homeowners to wash smaller loads using less water and power as well as wash dishes in one drawer while temporarily storing clean dishes in the other. The Drawer Dishwasher also features Whisper Quiet Ultima technology and soundproofing.
