Decks Don't Stand a Chance

The Composite Deck Screw from Grabber Construction Products is engineered to work with all types of composite deck materials where surface-mounted fasteners are used. The screws feature the company's patented LOX drive system that, according to the company, guarantees maximum torque and fully driven screws without cam-outs or stripped recesses. They are available in three colors: tan, redwood and grey or in stainless steel.

HVAC on a Diet

The newest Mr. Slim P Series from Mitsubishi Electric HVAC division is a cooling-only and heat pump system for large residential applications. The unit has a 6,000 to 45,000 BTUs-per-hour range. It's rated at 13+ SEER and uses R410A refrigerant. The P Series has an inverter-driven compressor and variable speed motor. An anti-corrosion model is available for coastal areas. The unit also has an optional remote controller.

Vent Some Fumes

Marley Engineered Products In-Line Bath Ventilation Fan has a quiet, remote-mounted, permanently lubricated motor and a backward curved centrifugal fan. It has fittings for 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-inch duct sizes. It is rated to operate continuously or intermittently and can be reconfigured with the company's dryer boost kit or radon mitigation kit. Grab It While It's Hot

The ProGrabit screw remover from Alden removes damaged screw heads and extracts free spinning No. 6 to No. 14 screws out of wood, metal or plastic. Removing damaged screws involves placing the burnishing end of the tool into a damaged screw to clean the head until smooth. Just flip the tool and apply pressure, drilling counterclockwise.

The remover end of ProGrabit will thread into the screw head and pull it out.

Papa's Brand New Bag

The JobMax fittings bag by Ridgid has six interior pockets and three exterior pockets made of Neoprene with double- wall construction. The bag is rated for all-weather use, and its interior is PVC-coated for water resistance. The bag also has an abrasion-resistant bottom. It measures 11-½-inches high by 17-½-inches wide.

Ceiling Bling

The Maxi Cable Glass Pendants by Besa Lighting are large cable pendants for foyers, lofts, two-level great rooms, entryways, lobbies and other areas with a tall ceiling. The pendants range from a 15-inch teardrop, 24-inch globe and 36-inch tall cylinder version. They are supported by three sturdy wire cables and are adjustable up to 10 feet.
