New Finishes

The Venice and Valencia from Omega cabinet doors come in three new finishes: portobello opaque, onyx glaze and antique. The antique effect uses dents, worm holes, chiseling and scrapingto make distressed look. The medium-density fiberboard has a three-step raised panel design with glazes such as coffee, pewter, hazelnut and arctic. Opaque paint options include pure white, pearl, oyster, alma, shale, pistachio and slate.

Grand Vistas

The Sierra Vista cabinet line from Timberlake Cabinetry Co. is a high-end, full-overlay door style with mitered corners with mortise and tenon construction. The raised center panels are surrounded by a 3-inch frame with curved-cut and beaded edges. The cabinets are made with either maple or cherry in honey, coffee, spice, mocha, cherry spice, chocolate and Bordeaux finishes. The company also has more than 70 knob and pull combinations.

Cosmopolitan Metropolitan

Inspired by European design, the Metropolitan-style cabinets and appliance panels from Yorktowne Cabinetry are available in cherry, maple and oak. The fronts are a 3/16-inch thick solid wood veneer with self-closing and concealed hinges. The wood grain can be stained to be accentuated or to be hidden, such as with the cherry wood with onyx. The line also includes appliance panels for a more seamless appearance. A three-inch door frame is also offered.

Can't Argue with Tradition

The Toney Traditional cabinet line from Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry features custom cabinets that use the company's Fairhaven style in white on soft maple with copper-perimeter countertops and Carrera marble on peninsulas. Fabric, lattice, solid or basket weave inset panels are available. Each cabinet is built with framed mortise and tenon construction or full-access, frameless dowel construction. Reclaimed or exotic woods are also available.

Makes a Lazy Susan Look Lazy

Aristokraft Cabinetry's Super Cabinet offers easy-to-use storage. It features three large extension rollout trays that each store up to 45 pounds. The cabinet has dual door storage and two wire pullout baskets to keep all contents visible. The Super Cabinet is made in saddle, rouge and fawn finishes in maple, cherry, birch, oak and hickory and comes as a 36-inch base cabinet or a more compact 30-inch size.

Arches the Romans Would've loved

The Cherry Hill Arch cabinet from Wellborn Cabinetry 's Woodcraft series has a full overlay and made from kiln-dried, 1¾-inch by ¾-inch solid cherry. It has a solid wood raised center panel and features concealed adjustable hinges. Interiors are made with natural maple laminates; drawer sides are made with ¾-inch solid maple with finished plywood bottoms and full access, under-mount, steel ball-bearing self-closing slides.

Solid-Looking Surfaces

The Mica Series from the Solid Surfacing line from Formica is inspired by Bakelite, the first plastic of the Art Deco period. The countertops are non-porous and contain fine bits of mica in circular patterns. Colors include pearl mica, vintage green and amber along with two new colors, mineral and nickel mica, which coordinate with the company's vanity bowl sinks.

Destination Known

Merillat 's Classic Destination transitional door style has a recessed V-groove center panel with a full-overlay design and five-piece drawer fronts meant to evoke a cottage or costal feel. The standard-size cabinets feature maple and cherry woods in all of the company's finishes and glazes, including cherry spiced cognac and maple artisan bronze.
