5 American-Made Products to Consider For Your Next Project

From California lighting to Missouri refrigeration, these residential products show what domestic brands are capable of

Looking to minimize supply chain risks? As the industry navigates tariffs, lead times, and other disruptions, many quality residential building products can be sourced right here in the U.S.

Here, we've highlighted a selection of products, from windows and doors to lighting and more, designed and manufactured domestically.

Central and Eastern U.S. | Windows and Doors

With products manufactured across four plants in the Central and Eastern U.S., MI Windows and Doors recently announced its Carbonite Collection, a new line of black-on-black vinyl windows and doors designed for both modern and traditional homes. Capstock color technology offers enhanced durability and UV resistance.

Set to launch this summer, the lineup includes single-hung, picture, slider, casement, awning, and moving glass wall systems, all built with a slim 3¼-inch frame depth for compatibility with both new construction and remodeling projects.

California | Lighting

Manufactured at Cerno Group's Southern California headquarters, the Stillo 16 pendant reflects the company's distinctly California aesthetic, combining leather suspension straps, spun metal elements, and wood detailing, all inspired by the coastal landscape of Laguna Beach, where the company founders were raised. The fixture is available in five finishes, including: Noir, Blanc (shown here), Cava, Deux, and Claire.

North Dakota | Bathroom Vanities

Inspired by Japanese design and built by North Dakota artisans, the Berkeley Bathroom Vanity from Room & Board bridges the gap between classic and contemporary styles.

The vanity features a solid wood base with a veneer overlayment and an optional quartz countertop—all sourced in the U.S. The vanity is also customizable, with various wood finishes, faucets, and quartz tops to choose from.

Virginia, Nevada, Arkansas | Decking

Trex recently expaned its Select decking line with a new mid-tier offering. Designed to deliver the durability of composite decking at a lower price point, the line features the company's proprietary SunComfortable technology that helps keep deck surfaces cooler in the sun. The solid-profile boards are also fully submersible for marine applications, and meet W.U.I. requirements for wildfire-prone areas.

The composite boards are also made from up to 95% recycled and reclaimed materials sourced in the U.S. and manufactured at the company’s three manufacturing facilities located in Virginia, Nevada, and Arkansas.

Missouri | Refrigeration

True Residential’s undercounter refrigeration collection is designed for both indoor and outdoor settings. The collection is available in 24-inch and 36-inch sizes and offers 14 customizable ambient lighting options and 84 color finishes to suit any design.

The refrigerator also features the brand’s TrueFlex shelving system for customizable organization, while zero-clearance hinging allows for integrated installation. The company traces its roots to St. Louis in 1945, when its founders built what is considered the first upright freezer. Today, True remains family-owned and manufactures its residential refrigeration products in Missouri.
