Double Duty Doors

 

With more than 90 custom carved door designs to choose from, Jeld-Wen's designer doors double as art. The custom carved doors have been used in foyers, wine cellars, home theatres, pantries and even stables. In addition to the stock collection of designs, Jeld-Wen can customize doors according to wood, finish, color, metal accents, hardware and decorative glass. Personalization can also be achieved with panels and raised molding, sidelights, transoms and trim. Each door is manufactured according to Jeld-Wen's 10-step finishing process, which includes stains, catalyzed sealers, sunscreens, coatings, fine-hand sanding and hand rubbing. Glassy Display

Architectural Glass Effects has added eight new styles of acid etched glass and two new patterns of clear glass to its decorative glass line. This decorative glass is used for the kitchen, bath, furniture and other door inserts. With more than 88 textures of clear glass and 14 color options, Architectural Glass products can be used to highlight a room or provide additional privacy. The glass can be cut to any size and comes with the following options: beveled glass, laminated glass, antiqued mirror, insulated units, tempered glass, leaded panels and special shapes.

Woody Hoods

Canyon Creek has a new wood hood program that is designed to compliment adjoining cabinetry. The Wood Hoods are available in 32 different combinations. They can be combined with two optional architectural accents — onlays and moldings — and several finishing effects: glazing, highlighting and sand-through to wood. The new wood program also includes a line of stainless steel powered liners. The liner units include a variable speed blower, adjustable lighting, filters, dampers and controls.

All that Glitters is Gold

Watermark Designs' Venetian faucet is a flashback to old world architecture. In keeping with the lavish era it represents, the Venetian faucet has a satin gold finish with intricately cut Austrian crystal handles. In addition to the crystal handles there are three marble designs — Cordoba black, Positano gray and Ferrara white. There are 35 available finishes and a line of coordinating bath accessories; towel bars, grab bars, shower systems and Roman tub sets.

Walking the Plank

Junckers' wide-plank flooring — The Woodland Collection — is comprised of two lines: a ½-inch smooth surface line and a ¾-inch hand scraped offering. The ½-inch line includes eight wood options including four exotic species and has a ceramic matte urethane finish that makes it ideal for high traffic areas. It measures 6 × 69 inches. The ¾-inch series features stained Hickory and Maple wood. This series is offered in 6-inch widths with random lengths that range from 12 to 70 inches. Each ¾-inch plank has been hand-scraped and sealed with matte aluminum oxide urethane.

Doors of Steel

Stainless steel converges with texture to create Lasertron's new line of cabinet doors. These textured doors are suitable for indoor and outdoor kitchens as well as entertainment centers. The textures, which include linen, leather grain, diamonds and swirls can be combine with Lasertron's colors - black, bronze, blue and copper for a personalized look for a customized creation. Glass inserts and door handles are also available. These doors are also offered in standard appliance grade brushed finish, charcoal or mirror finish. Lasertron can custom fit door projects and is manufactured to conceal fingerprints. The doors are constructed of prime 304 grade 20-gage stainless steel, rolled edges on the back of the doors and pre-drilled with welded corners.

Greco-Roman Revival

The Authentic Replication Columns by Chadworths translates 14th century columnar designs to the present. These load-bearing architectural pedestals are crafted from western red cedar, clear heart redwood, mahogany and teak. Suitable for interior or exterior applications the columns are offered in sizes ranging from 8 feet × 8 inches to 20 feet × 22 inches. Hand-carved wood capitals are available in wood or fiberglass. These stain grade line is available in the following woods: oak, cherry, English maple, mahogany, Bird's Eye Maple and teak.
